"Rapture" strapless ball gown wedding dress with lace bodice and high-low tiered tulle skirt, Monique Lhuillier. I knew this was the dress for me the minute I tried it on - when you know you know :) I love how unique it is. It is delicate and just stunning. The craftsmanship is amazing, you can tell it was handmade with so much skill given the level of detail. It has beautiful layers, and is a little shorter from the front, but that part is quite subtle. It was perfect because it has volume, but not too much. It was also so comfortable to walk in and dance in because it was a little shorter from the front . The dress had very minimal alterations, just to help define the waist and bust area. It is a size 6, and it was altered to my measurements: Bust: 35in Waist: 30in Hips: 36.5in I am 5'7, but height really doesn't matter with this dress since there is a tail, and the front is a little shorter in any case. It is also bustled so that the tail is reduced when you want it to be.
