The Monique Lhuillier Opulence gown is a stunner. The dress has 4 layers, silk charmeuse underneath, topped with one layer of chantilly lace and a top layer of very intricately hand beaded lace. Subtle peplum on the sides add a unique twist. The dress is originally strapless but I had straps added. They are made of the same beaded lace and blend perfectly with the dress, they are sewn in but can easily be removed by a tailor. I had the back tailored so that the back line comes down lower. It really adds a wow factor to the dress. The alterations also make this dress a one-of-a-kind, this dress is really unique and so beautiful. It's easy to move in and has a beautiful bustle. This dress was purchased at the Monique Lhuillier Boutique in Los Angeles and all alterations were done there. The dress zips up the back and has a flipper so your strapless bra won't budge.
