This dress is a dream! I purchased this wedding gown for my January 2016 destination wedding. It is from Monique Lhuillier's Fall 2015 Platinum Collection. This is Monique's highest end range of wedding dresses with the most intricate details and workmanship. The gown is made of silk white embroidered Chantilly lace and tulle with a layered horsehair trim skirt. The gown is elegant yet fun and feminine. It is so fun to dance in with the movement in the skirt from the horsehair trim. The dress is incredibly light and comfortable for having such a dramatic skirt. It has some nice textural elements as well with different types of lace and some small organza flowers scattered throughout the bodice which then repeat with less frequency down the skirt. The dress was ordered in a size 10 with the cups opened up one size from normal and the neckline raised one inch. It was then altered. For reference, I am typically a size 8 in most dresses. The dress is in like new condition and was professionally cleaned immediately following the wedding. Please note in the photo from the back that this is the dress bustled. The dress has a small train when not bustled, but it is easy to walk around in.
