This gown is from Monique Lhuillier's Bliss collection. It features a feminine silhouette and subtle play on romantic textures. The trumpet dress is draped in tulle over delicate chantilly lace (see pictures for detail shots). It is classic, figure-flattering, and has  understated elegance. I performed very few alterations to this dress. The bodice is completely unaltered, save for two interior straps in the back of the dress that secure a strapless bra. The zipper close was left intact in case the next owner wishes to add a corset close. I hemmed the dress to be worn with flats (i'm 5'7") and added a 7-point bustle that was a breeze to bustle (simple ribbons over buttons). Please refer to the last picture for a side view of the gown when bustled. The dress is in excellent condition--it looks unworn. The only point of visible wear is on the hanger straps, which of course will removed by the next owner or tucked into the dress when worn. There are no holes, stains, or tears to the tulle or lace.
