I fell in love with Elysee’s Seraphine dress for its gorgeous Mikado fabric and sculpted neckline and bodice. The seaming across the bodice and down the front is SO flattering, and the Mikado fabric is thick enough to hide any insecurities you may have. ? I also loved the low back with full buttons all the way down the back of the skirt. I am a street size 6-8 (closer to a 6 when I purchased, closer to an 8 when it was altered. Note the photo showing the back of the dress was taken before any alterations were made).

CONDITION: It does not have the fabric loops under the armpits for hanging as they were visible when wearing the dress so I cut them out. There appears to be one button missing at the very end of the train, and some small scuffs along the hem; there is a very small mark at the waist below the lowest point of the 'sash' (it appears to be dirt and may come out with further cleaning?) that I do not believe would be visible when wearing (unless of course someone’s shoving their face in your waist!); and a small pull at the top of the 'sash' on the bust which is mostly hidden when the sash is in place. Please see photos.

ALTERATIONS: I had one layer of tulle removed from the skirt to give a less dramatic flare; the bodice, waist, and hip areas were taken in, and I added a bustle. I also had the dress hemmed to work for my height (5' 5.5") with 3-inch heels.

WEDDING: This was my ceremony dress -- I wore it for our first look, ceremony, and photos but changed for dinner and the reception. Overall, I think the dress is in great condition and would love for another bride to be able to wear it for her 'I Do' moment!

VEIL: I wore this dress with a cathedral-length pearl-studded veil. If you are interested in the veil, I can include it for an additional $100 (purchased for close to $400).
If you would like to include the veil please email ${email} prior to purchasing.
